Good Morning Lents

A while back my son was the recipient of a hit and run. We can get no information even though we provided a very good description and a plate number. It is crazy as my son saw the car still driving around. Sadly it was going the other way in some heavy traffic. Over $10,000 in damages. You might remember the hit and run guy I tracked down that resulted in another person seeing it on the page and finding out this guy had hit them also.

On Christmas morning 2 tweakers destroyed my truck and did a lot of damage to my car. They had no license, no insurance. Damage about $9,000.00.

This morning on my way to coffee a car was sitting with its emergency lights on halfway on the road on Foster by Ralph Miles Liquidators. I stopped as there was a young girl in the car. She said she was alright and that someone had run her off the road and kept going. She took out a street sign and some other sign as well as hitting a couple of trees. Her windshield was smashed, her side window broken out. I stayed there until a woman she knew came driving up. I am amazed this kid had no injuries.

If we had cops actually patrolling our streets and doing traffic stops on these cars that have, no plates, no tags, and driving erratically, I bet a lot of these would not have happened. These incidents I mention are becoming commonplace. It's bad enough we can't let kids play outside. We are not safe in our homes, our property is not safe, and now driving a car is dangerous. Parking out in front of your own home is not safe anymore.

Lent's with it's homeless camps, mad max vehicles everywhere has become a real shithole. Needles, garbage, theft, hit and runs. Elections are coming. Look at those in office now, and please do not reward them with another term, unless this is okay with you.

I am so tired of hearing about the plight of those who don't give a shit, being the cities top priority while those who work hard, play by the rules are ignored. Enough!
