MERRY CHRISTMAS
Woke up to two of my vehicles being wrecked!
This morning at 5:15 am I got a visit. No it was not Santa Claus, or his little helpers. It was Tara the Terrible and Mad Max. You know them, you see them driving the streets every night. No license, no insurance, an address on their ID that comes back to a local non profit. My guess is meth, but who knows.
My son woke to the sound of a loud crash and twisted metal.
When we got outside they were desperately trying to get the truck started. I had to stop them as they damn near backed it up into another car that belongs to my neighbor across the street.
My son, as I was getting dressed could hear her desperation in getting the hell out of there as fast as they could.
When I got out there I saw my truck had been hit so hard that it pushed it up on the curb, bent the back axle and shoved it into Chrysler 300.
I asked for a drivers license, she did not have one. I asked for insurance and she claimed that she just bought the truck and that the guy who sold it to her said it was insured. ( MY ASS ).
I made sure the police came and she attempted to tell the officer that she was going 20 miles an hour and something ran out in front of her. I think they call those meth monsters.
Please don't hand me anymore of this compassion crap. This has got to come to a head and soon. Our streets are not even safe to park on anymore let alone walk or drive on.
In Lents over the last 2 months I know of at least 5 hit and runs and several other accidents where the party at fault had no insurance. I cannot even imagine the numbers for the city of Portland.
What will happen to this dirt bag ? Nothing ! In fact, one of the snow flake agencies will probably help her get a license and a car.
I will be filing a DMV report which will prevent her from probably ever getting a license, but does she care?
Theft, garbage, drugs, feces, urine, hit and runs, property damage , fires, and who pays for it all ? Go look in the mirror.
